The call park feature allows a person to place a call on hold so it can be retrieved from a different phone. A standard parked call consists of two CDR records. To see both records in a report you should enable the cradle-to-grave feature.
The first record is from the original call. This leg terminates when the call is parked. The Originating Termination Behalf Of and Terminating Termination Behalf Of fields = Call Park. Since the call is split when parked the Original Cause Code and Terminating Cause Code fields = “Call split”.
The second record begins when the parked call is retrieved. Cisco does not generate a record that represents the time when the call was parked. We only get the time up to the point the call was parked and then the CDR resumes after the call is retrieved. The person who retrieved the call is treated as the originator of the new record. The Calling Party Number, Originating Device Name or Originating CUCM End User ID fields contain information pertaining to the user that retrieved the parked call.
The parked caller is the destination, this means the Original Called Party Number, Final Called Party Number, Terminating Device Name or Terminating CUCM End User ID all pertain to the parked user.
The Last Redirect DN field contains the park code used to retrieve the call. The Last Redirect Reason field = Call Park Pickup and Last Redirect On Behalf Of = Call Park.
Let’s break down the sample in the screenshot below:
Leg 1: The call begins at 9:14 and was an outbound call placed by 6080 and the user dialed 917372071234. The call was connected for 1:06 before the call was parked.

Calling Party Number | 6080 – The user who initiated the call. |
Final Called Party Number | 917372071234 – The recipient of the call. |
Originating Termination Behalf Of Terminating Termination Behalf Of | Call Park – This leg ended (was terminated) because the call was parked. |
Originating Cause Code Terminating Cause Code | “Call Split…” – This pretty much means the call did not complete and was transferred. The next leg will tell you where it was transferred to. |
Leg 2: The second leg begins at 9:15 when the user at 6081 dialed the pickup number (7900) and answered the parked call. The call was connected for 42 seconds before the call was cleared.

Calling Party Number | 6081 – The user who retrieved the parked call. |
