How to fix “Variphy was not able to establish a connection to CUCM Server x.x.x.x”

When using the Variphy software you are greeted with this error message:

Cluster Server Not Available

Variphy was not able to establish a connection to CUCM server x.x.x.x

This message indicates the software is attempting to establish a connection with a CUCM server at IP address x.x.x.x and the attempt failed.

The Variphy software comes preconfigured with one or more sample CUCM clusters and all of them point towards that IP address. These sample clusters can be deleted during the initial deployment. If the are not deleted you will likely encounter this error.

Follow these steps to delete the clusters:

In the Variphy app hover over the Setup icon in the top right corner of the page and under Platforms click CUCM Clusters.

Click the delete button to remove the clusters.
