Many of our customers use InformaCast for phone paging, and Variphy’s authentication requests for phone control will normally be forwarded to the CUCM Publisher if the “Next Authentication URL Redirection” field is enabled.
However, after upgrading to 14.4.x, the redirection no longer works, causing Variphy’s phone remote control authentication request to fail. This is due to an issue with this InformaCast version which causes the Next Authentication process to fail. Please see their support article here for more information:

Until this issue is patched, the recommended workaround is to either:
- Roll back InformaCast to a pre-14.4 version
2. Revert the authentication URL to the cluster default, bypassing the InformaCast server for authentication.
